Information we collect

Account details you give us when you sign up or update your account: name, email address, password (stored only in scrambled, one-way form), and optionally phone number and mailing address.
Order details: the products you request, shipping or pickup choice, address, phone, payment method, notes you add, and for firearms your FFL dealer's name and license number.
Card payments: when you pay by card online, you enter your card details on a secure form provided by our payment processor, Authorize.Net. Your full card number and security code go directly to them and never reach our website. We keep only the card type, its last four digits and the transaction reference, so we can show your receipt and issue refunds.
Content you post: forum posts, photos and product reviews, shown publicly with your first name and last initial. Location and camera data are removed from uploaded photos.
Technical information: when you visit, our server records your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and when, for security and to count visits.

How we use it

To process and fulfill your orders, arrange payment, shipping or pickup, and contact you about them.
To run your account, including password reset emails.
To keep records we are required to keep by law, including firearm transfer records.
To protect the site and our customers from fraud, abuse and attacks. This includes checking the country an IP address belongs to, using a third-party IP lookup service.
To send you news, new products and deals by email only if you opted in. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also turn it off any time under My Account.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as needed to serve you:

Our payment processor, Authorize.Net, to process card payments and refunds and to help prevent fraud. They receive your card details, the order amount, and your name, address and email.
Shipping carriers, to deliver your order.
The FFL dealer you name, for firearm transfers.
Google (Gmail), which delivers the emails we send you.
Government agencies, when required by law (for example, ATF record requests or a valid court order).

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in and protect forms from forgery. Your browser also remembers that you confirmed you are 21 or older. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not use third-party analytics.

How long we keep it

We keep account information while your account is open. Order records are kept as long as required for tax, business and legal purposes. Server security logs are deleted on a rolling basis.

Your choices

View and update your details and email preferences under My Account.
Ask us to delete your account. We will remove your personal details, reviews and saved cart; order records we are required to keep are retained, and forum posts can be removed on request.

Security

The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), stores passwords only in scrambled form, and is protected by a firewall and attack filtering. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Age

This site is only for adults 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
